Leulinghem ( Dutch Loningem ) is a French municipality with 252 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Omer and the canton of Lumbres .

geography

Leulinghem is about six kilometers west-southwest of Saint-Omer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Leulinghem is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Zudausques in the north, Saint-Martin-lez-Tatinghem in the east and northeast, Wisques in the east and southeast, Setques in the south and southwest and Quelmes in the west.

The former Route nationale 42 (today's D942) runs through the municipality .
