Tilques ( Flemish : Tilleke ) is a municipality in northern France with 1,099 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It belongs to the Hauts-de-France region , the Nord department , the Saint-Omer arrondissement and the Saint-Omer canton (until 2015: Saint-Omer-Nord canton ).

geography

Tilques is about five kilometers north-northwest of Saint-Omer . The municipality is part of the Caps et Marais d'Opale Regional Nature Park .

Tilques is surrounded by the neighboring parishes of Serques in the north and northwest, Saint-Omer in the east and southeast, Salperwick in the south and east and Zudausques in the west and southwest.
