Brêmes (also: Brêmes-les-Ardres , Dutch Bramen ) is a French municipality with 1290 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the region of Hauts-de-France . It has belonged to the Arrondissement of Calais (previously Saint-Omer ) and the Canton of Calais-2 (until 2015: Canton Ardres ) since 2017 .

Brêmes is about twelve kilometers south-southeast of Calais . Brêmes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Balinghem in the north and west, Ardres in the north-east, Louches in the east and south-east, Landrethun-lès-Ardres in the south and south-east and Rodelinghem in the west and south-west.
