The Communauté de communes du Val Vert du Clain is a former French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Vienne in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . It was founded on December 23, 1992 and comprised six parishes. The administrative seat was in the place Jaunay-Clan .

Historical development

With effect from January 1, 2017, the community association merged

with the simultaneous formation of the Communes nouvelles Beaumont-Saint-Cyr and Jaunay-Marigny . This created the successor organization Grand-Poitiers Communauté d'agglomération . Despite the similarity of the name to one of the predecessor organizations, it is a new establishment with a different legal personality.
