action

Eddie Castillo has just served a seven-year prison sentence for killing a man in illegal street fights known as pit fights. After his prison sentence, he wants to stay clean, but his brother David has since entered the fight scene. He stands up for the promoter Lucky, who in turn reports to the street boss Argento. When a new star enters the scene, the Mexican "Matador" can't wait to face him. But Matador kills David during the fight.

After learning of his brother's death, Eddie only has revenge on his mind. He joins Lucky's fighter tribe and prepares for the decisive battle with Matador. But through the relationship with Argento's lover Gizelle and the contacts with his brother's former girlfriend, who is now expecting a child, and a priest, Eddie realizes that revenge is not the way to go. When Argento threatens Lucky, however, Eddie decides to face Matador. He can defeat the giant and in the end refuses to kill him. Argento loses the respect of his followers and is killed.

criticism

Like most direct-to-DVD productions , the film received very little reviews. The lexicon of international films calls the film a "predictable action film in a street gang milieu that serves sworn fans of tangible beating orgies."

“It's real nonsense again, with slacked-out fights and stupid pathos, but wonderfully serious pseudo-drama and, in its stupidity, surprising twists in the story. Confession accepted. Oh yes, in the end, strangely enough, you don't hear the pixies . "
