Conrad Adolf Bansa

Conrad Adolf Bansa (born October 2, 1788 in Frankfurt am Main ; † September 26, 1843 there ) was a banker and politician of the Free City of Frankfurt .

Bansa was the son of the banker and wine merchant Johann Matthias Bansa (1758–1802) and his wife Maria Sophia nee Streiber. He married Maria Magdalene, born Reuss (born January 26, 1789 - January 10, 1872) in Frankfurt am Main on May 18, 1814, the daughter of the Frankfurt merchant Dietrich Reuss and his wife Maria Jacobea Bansa. The following children were born from the marriage:

  • Johann Conrad Carl Bansa-Streiber (1817-1882), owner of the Fideikommiss Ulrich Halben near Weimar
  • Marie Victoria Auguste Kugler (1818–1879), married the district court counselor in Frankfurt am Main Friedrich Kugler ,
  • Jeannette Fellner (1824–1887), married to Carl Fellner, the last senior mayor of the Free City of Frankfurt.
  • Lorenz Eduard Achilles Bansa (1827–1877)

Conrad Adolf Bansa was a banker in Frankfurt am Main. 1788–1821 he was a partner in the Bansa & Reuss banking house.

From 1821 to 1826 he was a member of the Senate of the Free City of Frankfurt as a member of the council and from 1826 to 1837 as a senator . From 1837 to 1843 he was then a Schöff. From 1821 to 1827 he was a member of the select council. He was a member of the Legislative Body from 1822 to 1843.
