Conrad Arnold

Johann Conrad Arnold (born August 2, 1774 in Rennertehausen ; † August 11, 1840 in Battenfeld ) was a liberal Hessian politician and former member of the 2nd Chamber of the Land estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse .

Conrad Arnold was the son of the economist Johannes Arnold and his wife Helena. He was a Protestant and married Anna Catharina Elisabeth, born in Battenfeld in 1793, the daughter of master blacksmith Johannes Groß. Conrad was a professional businessman and innkeeper in Battenfeld.

Christoph Arnold was a member of the state estates of the Grand Duchy of Hesse from 1832 to 1834 . He was elected in the constituency of Oberhessen 1 / Battenberg . Until 1837 he was mayor of Battenfeld.
