Conrad Friedrich Hurlebusch
Conrad Friedrich Hurlebusch (* baptized December 30, 1691 in Braunschweig ; † December 17, 1765 in Amsterdam ) was a German composer .
Life
Hurlebusch received his musical training from his father, who was a vicar and organist, and then attended a high school. A study trip lasting several years then took him to Vienna and Italy.
In 1722 Hurlebusch got a job as court music director at the royal court in Stockholm , which was followed by further engagements in the same position in Bayreuth , Hamburg and Braunschweig . From 1743 he worked as an organist at the reformed Oude Kerk in Amsterdam .

Hurlebusch wrote numerous odes, sonatas, piano works, operas and cantatas. In the collection of various and selected odes (1737–43) by Johann Friedrich Graefe there are 72 of his odes. In 1746 he also set the 150th Psalm to music.
