Conrad Otto Christoph Marschall von Bieberstein

Baron Conrad Otto Christoph Marschall von Bieberstein (born March 17, 1726 in Geisberg ; † May 25, 1796 ) was a ducal-Württemberg colonel and court marshal .

His parents were Lieutenant Colonel and Commander of the Hohenasperg Fortress Damian Otto Julius Marschall von Bieberstein (1701–1760) and his wife Wilhelmine Louise Elisabeth von Lampoy , daughter of Colonel and Chief Stable Master Friedrich Wilhelm von Lampoy (L'Empoy) and Maria Magdalena de Haas

He went into the Württemberg Army and rose to colonel there by 1767. Then he became Oettingen-Wallersteinischer Oberstallmeister and Hofmarschall. In 1774 he was given the post of senior bailiff in Alerheim . He was the successor to Heinrich Friedrich von Ende .

He married on September 21, 1761 in Ludwigsburg Johanna Theresia Henriette von Wolff (* December 21, 1738; † April 21, 1783) daughter of the Württemberg Lieutenant General Philipp Anton Ludwig von Wolff and Louise Regine von Reichmann . The couple had several children including:

  • Franz Otto Ludwig (born July 1, 1762 - † August 6, 1790), Württemberger Hofrat
  • Carl Wilhelm (* December 21, 1763; † August 11, 1817) ∞ Wilhelmine von Reck (1782–1856)
  • Friedrich August (* July 30, 1768 - † June 28, 1826) Imperial Russian State Councilor
  • Ernst Franz Ludwig (* August 2, 1770; † January 22, 1834) ∞ Karoline von Veltheim (1783–1840)
  • Theresa Maria Charlotte (* August 17, 1775; † March 25, 1842) ∞ Ernst August Friedrich von Schwartzkoppen (* May 27, 1776; † February 17, 1827). Parents of General Emil von Schwartzkoppen
  • Franz Heinrich (born August 27, 1780)

He and his wife were buried in St. Stephen's Church in Alerheim. Their tombstones can be viewed in the church.
