Convolvuleae is a tribe from the family of wind plants (Convolvulaceae). Three genera are counted to it, the type genera are the winches ( Convolvus ).
description
Representatives of the tribe Convolvuleae are mostly herbaceous climbing plants . The base of the leaf blades is usually heart-shaped, occasionally also wedge-shaped, cut off or blunted. The flowers are radially symmetrical and hermaphroditic. Their sepals are the same length and do not enlarge on the fruit. The stamens are flattened and hairy except in polymeria . The pollen grains are trikolpat to pantoporat, not prickly and spherical. The stylus consists of completely fused carpels . The scars are elongated, narrow and awl-shaped to club-shaped, in Polymeria they are finely slit. The fruits are popping capsules with usually four valves.
Occurrence
Two of the three genera of the tribe Convolvuleae are widespread, the genus Polymeria is restricted to the area of Australia , New Guinea , Malesia and New Caledonia.

The following genera belong to the tribe:
- Bindweed ( Calystegia R.Br. )
- Bindweed ( Convolvulus L. )
- Polymeria R.Br. : With seven kinds; they occur from Australia to Malesia and New Caledonia.
According to the cladistic definition, the tribe corresponds to the narrowest clade in which Convolvulus arvensis L. and Polymeria pusilla R.Br. are classified.
