Conway is a census-designated place (CDP) in Skagit County , Washington state . The place was first settled in 1873 by Thomas P. Jones and Charles Villeneuves. As of the 2010 United States Census , Conway had 91 residents; it belongs to the Metropolitan Statistical Area Mount Vernon - Anacortes .

Conway is on Washington Stae Route 534 . According to the United States Census Bureau , the CDP has a total area of ​​0.7 km², which does not include water areas.

education

Children can attend Conway Elementary School from kindergarten through eighth grade. The school mascot is a puma, the school colors are blue and gold. There are two teachers per grade level; the teacher-student ratio is around 1:30.

The Conway School District does not have a high school; parents are encouraged to send their children to one of the neighborhood high schools; B. to Stanwood, Mount Vernon or LaConner. The majority of Conway high school students attend Mount Vernon High School as it is the only high school with a school bus service to Conway.

As of the 2000 census , Conway had 84 residents, 28 households, and 22 families. The population density was 124.7 per km ². There were 29 housing units at an average density of 43.1 per km².
