Coralie Bentz (born May 21, 1996 ) is a French cross-country skier .

Career

Bentz, who competes for CS Argentière , took part in U18 and U20 races in the Alpine Cup from 2012 to 2016 . At the Junior World Ski Championships in 2016 in Râşnov , she finished 40th in the sprint, 29th place over 5 km classic and 22nd place over 10 km freestyle. She completed her first races in the Alpine Cup in January 2017 in Planica , which she finished in 30th place over 10 km freestyle and 23rd place over 10 km classic. In the same month she won the bronze medal with the relay at the Winter Universiade in Almaty . In addition, she was ninth over 5 km classic, eighth in the pursuit and seventh in the sprint. In the 2017/18 season she achieved seven top ten placings, including third place over 10 km freestyle in Campra and fourth place in the overall ranking of the Alpine Cup in the pursuit in Cogne . She made her debut in the World Cup in January 2018 in Seefeld in Tirol , which she finished in 36th place in the 10 km mass start race. At the U23 World Championships in Goms in 2018 , she ran 12th place over 10 km classic and tenth place in the skiathlon . In the following season she finished in the top ten four times in the Alpine Cup, including second place over 10 km freestyle in Le Brassus and thus achieved eighth place in the overall ranking of the Alpine Cup. At the U23 World Championships in Lahti in 2019 , she came 14th in the 10 km freestyle and 11th in the 15 km mass start race. In January 2020 she won her first victory in the Alpine Cup in the classic 10 km class in Campra and her first World Cup points with 23rd place in the 10 km freestyle world cup in Nové Město .
