Corey Cogdell-Unrein (born September 2, 1986 in Palmer , Alaska as Corey Cogdell ) is an American sports shooter . She competes in the Trap discipline .

Corey Cogdell won the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . In the following year, another bronze medal followed at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing , when she scored 86 goals in the final and then prevailed in the jump-off for bronze against three competitors. The 2012 Olympic Games in London , she completed on the eleventh place from. Four years later, she moved into the Olympic semifinals in Rio de Janeiro , after she came to a duel for bronze after 13 goals and a subsequent play-off, in which she was defeated. In this it came against Fátima Gálvez again to the jump-off, which Cogdell won and thus again won the bronze medal. In 2017 she became world champion with the Trap team in Moscow .
