Reviews

For the most part, the reviews for this album have been extremely positive. Debora Katonah from laut.de wrote that comparisons to "70s bands like Led Zeppelin" can still be made. “And the songs still pop the same way - albeit quieter and gentler. Wolfmother laid a cosmic egg that they brooded on for a long time. Your chick stands on secure feet between the nostalgic and future sounds, has a mind of its own and is sure to become an extraordinary extraterrestrial rooster. "Christian Kroemer from cdstarts.de said:" The successor to your self-titled debut is neither poor average food nor a cheap imitation, but an independent and well thought-out long player. After buying it, you should definitely take the necessary time to enjoy this record undisturbed and completely - the impression is overwhelming. "

useful information

After the success of the debut album, two band members dropped out of the band due to "irreconcilable differences". Andrew Stockdale had to re-cast the entire band. At the beginning of February 2009 it was clear that the band with Dave Atkins, Aidan Nemeth and Ian Peres would continue to exist under the name Wolfmother . The new album was recorded in April 2009 and released in late October 2009. Previously, the new album was promoted on a major world tour called the New Moon Rising World Tour . On June 2, 2009, Back Round was released as the first single exclusively via download portals, the first single that was also regularly on the market was New Moon Rising on August 25, 2009. On December 29, 2009, White Feather was released before the June 10, 2010 Far Away was announced, which had been on the radio six months earlier.
