In summer 2015 he moved to Iraklis Thessaloniki within the Super League . There he was a regular midfield player at the beginning of the 2015/16 season , but injured himself in October 2015 and was out for the rest of the season. At the beginning of September 2016, he left Iraklis without playing another game for the club. He returned to Romania, where he signed on with FC Voluntari. There he and his team won the 2017 cup .

Several appointments followed in 2009, which only led to two substitutions, as well as two nominations in autumn 2010 without being used. Only after Răzvan Lucescu was replaced by Pi wiederumurcă in 2011, Lazăr became an integral part of the team.
