Crispin Bonham-Carter

Crispin Bonham-Carter (born September 23, 1969 ) is a British theater and film actor and theater director.

Life

Crispin Bonham-Carter was born in 1969 to Peter Malcolm Bonham-Carter and Clodagh Greenwood. His father is a third cousin of actress Helena Bonham Carter . After graduating from the University of St Andrews in Scotland in 1992, Crispin Bonham-Carter played a minor supporting role in the British literary film Howards End ( Howards End , 1992). He then appeared primarily on British television, but also played theater or directed there.

He achieved international fame as the lovable Mr. Bingley in the BBC television series Pride and Prejudice ( Pride and Prejudice , 1995) with Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth . From 2001 he was also seen in US television series, such. B. Relic Hunter - The Treasure Hunter ( Relic Hunter ) and Emergency Room - The Emergency Room ( ER ). In 2001 he was also seen in the music video for the song Uptown Girl by the Irish band Westlife .
