The Crooked Creek Township is located in central southeast Missouri. The Mississippi , which forms the border with Illinois , is about 60 km east of Crooked Creek Township. The Arkansas border is around 130 km south.

Neighboring Bollinger County are the Union Township in the north, Whitewater Township in the northeast, Scopus Township in the east, Lorance Township in the southeast and Filmore Township in the south. To the west, Crooked Creek Township borders Madison County .
