Csaba Fazakas
Csaba Fazakas (born August 5, 1959 in Miercurea-Ciuc / Seklerburg / Transylvania ( Romania )) is an Austrian artist of Hungarian origin . He lives and works in Vienna .
“The thematized loss of the ego and indecision come to the surface as symptoms of our time, which even the artist cannot escape. He cannot and does not want to hide his doubts and dilemmas even with artistic means. He himself is saturated by the zeitgeist of the western world with its indecision and the simultaneous existence of different realities and their interpretations ”.

Studies
After attending elementary and high school in Miercurea, the artist completed three studies. First he studied social pedagogy at the West Hungarian University of Benedek Elek. Then followed the study of social policy at the University of Eötvös Lóránd in Budapest and finally the study of art therapy at the University of Pécs . He successfully completed all of these studies.
He also enjoyed numerous private studies in Vienna and Budapest, among others with artists such as Mircia Dumitrescu, Arnulf Rainer and Adolf Frohner .
After training in graphics and implementation in the field of securities, he worked for several years in a managerial position at the Austrian State Printing Office (OESD) in Vienna.
He completed a series of study trips that took him to Antwerp , Copenhagen , Berlin , Lausanne , New York , Tel-Aviv , Tuscany , Paris , Rome and Venice , among others .
