Cunevo ( Nones : Cunéo , German outdated: Kuen ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Contà in the province of Trento in the Trentino-Alto Adige region .
geography
The place is about 25 kilometers north-north-west of Trento at an altitude of 575 mslm on the orographic right side of the Non Valley .
history
Cunevo was an independent municipality until 2015 and merged with Terres and Flavon on January 1, 2016 to form the new municipality of Contà. On December 31, 2015, the municipality of Cunevo had 602 inhabitants on an area of 5.55 km². Neighboring communities were Campodenno , Denno , Flavon, Terres and Tuenno . The community belonged to the valley community Comunità della Val di Non .
