Terres ( Nones : Tères ; German obsolete: Ters ) is a fraction and municipality seat of the municipality ( comune ) Contà in the province of Trento in the Trentino-Alto Adige region .

The place is about 27.5 kilometers north-north-west of Trento on the orographic right side in the Non Valley on the edge of the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park at an altitude of 593 mslm
history
Terres was an independent municipality until 2015 and merged with Cunevo and Flavon on January 1, 2016 to form the new municipality of Contà. On December 31, 2015, the municipality of Terres had 320 inhabitants on an area of 6.4 km². Neighboring communities were Flavon, Nanno and Tuenno . The community belonged to the valley community Comunità della Val di Non .
economy
Fruit is grown in the area of the former municipality, especially the Golden Delicious apple variety .
