Cuno von Bodenhausen

Cuno von Bodenhausen (born July 7, 1852 in Witzenhausen , † October 26, 1931 in Polling ) was a German painter .

In Prague , Cuno von Bodenhausen graduated from high school and took painting lessons from Alois Kirnig towards the end of the 1860s . From November 15, 1871, he studied painting under Wilhelm von Lindenschmitt in the class of antiquities at the Munich Art Academy .

In 1877 von Bodenhausen drew attention to himself in Munich with the picture Mignon and the Harper . The more soulful of his pictures met the taste of the time.
