CuriosityStream is a US video-on-demand provider of non-fiction documentaries and series on science , history , society and lifestyle .

history

John Hendricks, who previously founded the Discovery Channel , started operations for CuriosityStream in America on March 18, 2015 in the United States. The company's international offer was initiated on September 29, 2015.

There is currently (as of January 2020) no German version of the website.

The program portfolio includes original documentaries by various famous scientists such as Stephen Hawking , Michio Kaku and Richard Dawkins ; In the USA, you can still access exclusive BBC content.
