Curt Biegler

Curt Biegler (born November 27, 1911 in Pfeddersheim , † April 14, 2000 in Mainz ) was a German theologian and politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending primary school and graduating from high school in Worms , Biegler studied Protestant theology at the universities in Tübingen and Gießen . He passed the first theological state examination in 1935, attended the seminary in Friedberg and completed his studies in 1937 with the second state examination in theology.

He then worked as a vicar at the Marktkirche in Wiesbaden and until 1940 as a parish assistant and parish administrator in Worms. From 1940 to 1951 he worked as a pastor in Alzey and then as a pastor in Sprendlingen .

Political party

Biegler was a member of the SPD.

Biegler had been a member of the Bingen district council since 1956 . In the 1961 Bundestag election, he was elected to the German Bundestag via the SPD state list in Rhineland-Palatinate , to which he belonged until 1965.
