Curt Fischer (born February 14, 1901 in Weimar , † August 30, 1945 in Landsberg an der Warthe ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After graduating from the humanistic grammar school in Erfurt in 1918, Fischer a. a. the Patriotic Subsidiary as well as time volunteer in the volunteer corps Thuringia and in the Einwohnerwehr Weimar . He then studied philosophy, history and art history at the University of Jena and political science in Berlin . During his studies, Fischer was a working student at magazine publishers and banks. There he received his doctorate in June 1926 with the dissertation Das Silberbergwerk Ilmenau during the 17th century as Dr. rer. pole. After graduating, Fischer worked for employee unions until 1927.

In August 1926 Fischer joined the NSDAP, in 1930 he became archivist and in 1932 parliamentary group secretary of the NSDAP parliamentary group in the Reichstag. In May 1933 he was appointed assistant to the social welfare office at the German Labor Front in Berlin. In October 1933 he moved to the Reichsanstalt für Arbeitsvermittlungs und unemployment insurance . In 1935 he became chairman of the East Berlin employment office and, from March 1937, head of the northern district office of the Berlin employment office.

On November 12, 1933, Fischer was elected to the National Socialist Reichstag for constituency 17 (Westphalia North) , to which he belonged until 1945. He was also the managing director of the Prince August Wilhelm donation.

Fischer reissued Wilhelm Frick's The National Socialists in the Reichstag from 1924 to 1931 and published other National Socialist writings.

Fischer belonged to the Reich Chamber of Labor , the Reich Debt Committee and, as Reich Honorary Judge, the Supreme Court of Honor and Disciplinary Court of the German Labor Front. In the staff of the highest SA leadership he was deployed as SA standard leader zV.

Shortly after the end of the Second World War , Fischer was arrested and died at the age of 44 in an internment camp in Landsberg an der Warthe .
