Curtis Lofton Tremayne (* 12. June 1986 in Kingfisher , Oklahoma ) is a former American American football poker players on the position of the linebackers . He played for the Atlanta Falcons , the New Orleans Saints and the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League (NFL).

Early years

Lofton went to high school in Kingfisher, his hometown. He later attended the University of Oklahoma . On January 14, 2008, he announced that he was participating in the 2008 NFL Draft .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

In the 2008 NFL Draft, Lofton was selected in the second round in 37th place by the Atlanta Falcons . Lofton was used directly as a starter in his rookie season. In 2010 and 2011 he led the team in tackles .

New Orleans Saints

On March 24, 2011, the New Orleans Saints Lofton signed for five years. In 2012 he led the team in tackles (123). After the 2014 season , Lofton was fired.

Oakland Raiders

On March 11, 2015, Lofton signed a contract with the Oakland Raiders . He was released on March 11, 2016.
