Cush jumbo
Cush Jumbo OBE (born September 23, 1985 in London ) is a British actress .
Jumbo grew up in the London Borough of Lambeth and took dance lessons from an early age . She attended the London School for Performing Arts and Technology and the Central School of Speech and Drama . After graduating, she first played theater and appeared at Shakespeare's Globe , among others . In 2010 she played Eliza Doolittle in George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion at the Royal Exchange Theater in Manchester . In 2009 she played the role of Lois Habiba in the third season of Torchwood, which was also broadcast in Germany .
