The 1st Division 2011/12 was the 67th season of the second highest Danish league in football, which was held by the Danish football association Dansk Boldspil Union .

Unlike in the previous season, the season was only played with 14 teams, as the league is to be reduced to 12 teams by the 2012/13 season, with the reserve teams also advancing up to the 1st division.
