The Döbra is a stream that rises near the village of Döbra at the foot of the Döbraberges in the Franconian Forest . The stream passes the village of Marlesreuth and flows south of the Weidesgrün part of the city of Selbitz into the river of the same name .
The brook was first mentioned on April 28, 1386 when the Veste Schauenstein was sold to the Nuremberg burgrave Friedrich .
The Döbrabach is the namesake of both the village of Döbra and the Döbraberg.
