Dürnast is a district of the community of Geltendorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .
geography
The Dürnast settlement is located immediately south of Kaltenberg.
history
Dürnast is first mentioned in 1752. The place name is Latin for a sheepfold on a tower ( Kaltenberg Castle ).
At that time the settlement belonged to the Hofmark Kaltenberg , which was owned by the Jesuit College Landsberg until 1783 and from 1783 until the secularization of the Commende Kaltenberg. Two properties are mentioned in Dürnast in 1752, a forge and a tavern .
