Jedelstetten is a district of the community of Geltendorf in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech .

The hamlet of Jedelstetten is about five kilometers west of Geltendorf am Loosbach.
history
Jedelstetten is first mentioned in a document in 1250.
The hamlet was part of the Hofmark Kaltenberg , which was owned by the Jesuit College Landsberg from 1612 to 1783 and by the Commende Kaltenberg from 1783 until the secularization .
In 1752 four properties are mentioned, a whole courtyard, two half courtyards and a three-sixteenth courtyard. All properties were landable for the Hofmark itself , the high jurisdiction lay with the Landsberg district court .
According to the municipal dictates of 1818, Jedelstetten belonged to the municipality of Kaltenberg, with which it was incorporated into Geltendorf on July 1, 1972 .
Attractions
In Jedelstetten there is the Catholic Chapel of St. Nicholas, a late medieval building that was redesigned in Baroque style in 1768–75 . The paintings in the chapel depict scenes from the life of the church patron and are by Johann Baptist Baader .
