The Düstere See is a lake near Schuckmannshöhe in the Vorpommern-Greifswald district in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
The approximately 2.7 hectare body of water is located in the municipality of Krackow , 300 meters north of the center in Schuckmannshöhe. The lake has no natural outflows or tributaries, but there is a swimming area on the eastern bank. The maximum extent of the gloomy lake is about 250 by 200 meters. The lake is also advertised as a fishing waters and is home to roach , bream , tench , perch , pike , eel , bream and perch .
