A German TV film by Annette Ernst from 2020 is on new paths . It is the sixth part of the Heimatfilm series Home in the Mountains .

action

After the death of their father, the two sisters Marie and Lisa Huber are faced with the decision to sell or continue the farm, which is in the red. They decide to fight to keep the farm and if after a year things are still going to look bad, they will sell the farm. They receive support in their work on the farm from Karl Leitner's adoptive son Tom, who was not born to work, but feels comfortable on the mountain pastures and has an eye on Florian Leitner's daughter. Meanwhile, Lisa sees an opportunity for the farm because she has received an order as a lawyer to have the million dollar project KUBA, an environmentally friendly old-timer community, dissolved. But Lisa falls in love with the initiator Ruben Hansen, who, however, when he learns that she is working for the other side, lets her down.

The sixth film in the ZDF home film series was shot at the same time as the previous fifth film Fathers from August 13, 2019 to October 16, 2019 at locations in the Allgäu . The first broadcast took place on June 19, 2020 on Das Erste .

For the critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm awarded one of three possible points for humor and tension and wrote: “(Too) much heartache in the picturesque Allgäu”.
