The Dahme-Class is a series of nine tugs of the project in 1345, which for the GDR - inland waterways have been built. The class is named after the river of the same name .

General

The tug boats were built by VEB Yachtwerft Berlin . The steel hull is divided into four watertight compartments by three bulkheads : aft peak , engine room , crew room and forepeak . The drive consists of a marine diesel engine of type 6 VD14.5 / 12-1 SRW from VEB Dieselmotorenwerk Schönebeck , which acts on a fixed propeller with 79.4 kW. The speed reached is 8 km / h when  towing and 15 km / h when driving alone. The tug boats of the Warnow class (Project 1344) are an almost identical variant for the Volksmarine , but with additional passenger capacity.
