Kim Da-mi (born April 9, 1995 ) is a South Korean actress .
Life
Kim Da-mi started taking acting classes in high school. During her time at Incheon National University College of Performing Arts, she gained acting experience in theater and short films. In 2017 she graduated from university and had a small role in the movie Marionette (2017). Her breakthrough came shortly afterwards. She got the lead role in Park Hoon-jung's action film The Witch: Subversion (2018). She prevailed against 1,500 candidates during the audition. For her performance in the film she received a lot of acclaim and numerous awards, including the prestigious Daejong Film Prize and the Blue Dragon Award . In 2020, she also achieved further fame as the leading actress in the Webtoon adaptation Itaewon Class .
