Dan Amboyer (born December 28, 1985 in Detroit , Michigan ) is an American actor , best known for his impersonation of Prince William of Wales in the television movie William & Kate: A Royal Love Story in 2011.

life and career

Dan Amboyer was born as the son of Claudia and Dr. Donald Amboyer was born in Detroit . He attended The Roeper School and arts high school Interlochen Arts Academy. He later studied at the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama.

After Amboyer first appeared mainly on Off-Broadway , he gained his first experience in 2007 with appearances in television series. He has made guest appearances in Law & Order , All My Children , Body of Proof , Graceland and Unforgettable , among others . In 2011 he was cast for the role of Prince William in the TV movie William & Kate: A Royal Love Story on the Hallmark Channel . Between 2015 and 2016 he had a supporting role in the series Younger . His next major role was that of Daniel , a call boy , in The Blacklist spin-off The Blacklist: Redemption .

On October 7, 2017, Dan Amboyer married his partner Eric P. Berger in New York City . On December 13, 2019, the two parents of a son.
