The Blacklist: Redemption is an American drama series that is a spin-off from the television series The Blacklist . The series takes over the character Tom Keen ( Ryan Eggold ) known from the mother series and is about his relationship to Susan Hargrave , portrayed by Famke Janssen , a character introduced at the end of the third season of the mother series. In addition, the characters Nez Rowan , Matias Solomon and Dumont, also introduced in season 3, are part of this series.
An official series order by the broadcaster NBC came on May 14, 2016. The season consisting of only 8 episodes was broadcast from February 23, 2017 to April 13, 2017. On May 12, 2017 it was announced by the broadcaster NBC that the series will not continue and that lead actor Ryan Eggold will return to The Blacklist from season 5 . The German-language first broadcast has been on RTL Crime since July 25, 2017.

Publication in German-speaking countries
The series was published in German-speaking countries by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment at the end of November 2017. In contrast to the mother series The Blacklist , the only season of the series appeared exclusively on DVD. There was no publication on BluRay. The German-language titles of the individual episodes differ from those of RTL Crime .
