Terry O'Quinn (actually Terrance Kevin Quinn , born July 15, 1952 in Sault Ste. Marie , Michigan ) is an American actor .

Life

O'Quinn is one of the many American actors who can be seen mainly in supporting roles. In the 1980s he played the title role in the horror thrillers The Stepfather and Stepfather II and had various series appearances in the 1990s, including in Starship Enterprise - The Next Century and the X Files, as well as a recurring supporting role in the series Millennium, also produced by Chris Carter at the side of Lance Henriksen . His work includes more than 110 film and television productions.

From 2004 he was best known for his role as John Locke in the television series Lost . For this he won the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the Primetime Emmy Awards 2007 . He also received a Saturn Award for this role . After Lost , O'Quinn planned to co-produce a series with Michael Emerson . After the US network NBC secured the rights to the project entitled Odd Jobs in 2010 , no pilot film was ultimately produced. In Hawaii Five-0 , the remake of the 1970s crime series Hawaii Five-Zero , he has appeared as Joe White since 2011 . Since mid-2012, O'Quinn appeared as Arthur Manchester in the second season of Falling Skies . More series engagements followed.

In February 2012 he got one of the lead roles in the ABC thriller series 666 Park Avenue , which ran until 2013.

The native Terrance Kevin Quinn changed his last name to O'Quinn, as there is already a US actor by the name Terrance Quinn. O'Quinn has been married since 1979 and has two children.
