Dana Heider Touran Izzat (born January 30, 1993 ) is a Jordanian Taekwondoin . It starts in the weight class up to 49 kilograms.

Touran achieved her first international successes in the junior division, in 2007 she became Junior Asian Champion in Amman in the class up to 42 kilograms, and the following year she competed in the Junior World Championship in Izmir . The year 2010 was a successful one for Touran. In Tijuana she became junior world champion in the class up to 49 kilograms, in Singapore she won the silver medal at the Summer Youth Olympic Games . At the Asian Championships in Astana , she won her first medal in the adult category with bronze in the lightest weight class. She also won the silver medal at the Asian Games in Guangzhou . Touran contested their first World Championship in Gyeongju in 2011 . She reached the round of 16, where she was eliminated by Yang Shu-chun . At the Asian Olympic qualification tournament in Bangkok , she won the decisive battle for third place in the class up to 49 kilograms and qualified for the 2012 Olympic Games in London .

Touran came to Taekwondo through kickboxing at the age of nine. After the decision of the World Taekwondo Federation (WTF) she was accepted into the Olympic Solidarity Program and received a sports scholarship that enabled her to train professionally and to participate in international competitions.
