Daniel Anderson
Daniel Anderson is a German film , theater and television director and screenwriter .
He develops fictional television formats and is the author of short stories , poetry , lengthy prose and plays. As the founder of the Berlin Theater Brigade , he runs free theater productions and readings of his own plays and texts at irregular intervals.
Life
Daniel Anderson studied directing at the Konrad Wolf Academy for Film and Television in Babelsberg . After graduating, he went to the Senftenberg miners' theater . He received a contract as senior director and author. Several pieces by Daniel Anderson premiered at this house.
Anderson has been a freelance writer and director since 1989. He worked in Israel, USA, the Czech Republic, Poland and New Zealand. Since 2000 he has mainly devoted himself to series work on television. He also worked as a producer for the series Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . In addition to his professional directorial work, he also makes experimental short films.
Anderson also works as a dubbing writer and dubbing director. Among other things, he is responsible for writing and directing the series Santa Clarita Diet , Six , NTSF: SD: SUV :: , as well as various feature film productions.
For the Israeli series When Heroes Fly (original title: בשבילה גיבורים עפים) Anderson wrote the German dialogue books of the first 10 episodes and directed it in the dubbing studio. He partly designed the dubbing books for the Hell on Wheels series , which Karin Lehmann took over as dubbing director.
In 2014 his novel "Deep Red" was published by Orange Cursor Verlag. He is the author of Hosentaschenverlag, Hanover, in which his short story "PanDORaS BuCHSe" was published.
In 2019, SPIEGELBERG VERLAG published his volume "Liebe aus Zigarettenpapier" with poetry and prose.
Daniel Anderson is the founder of THEATERBRIGADE BERLIN, an independent ensemble with which he regularly realizes free theater productions of his plays and readings of his texts.
Daniel Anderson is the owner of scripts & stories gbr and gives young directors the opportunity to do volunteer work and internships.
