Player career

Born in Andalusia, Dani Bautista started his career as a professional footballer in his hometown with Sevilla FC . After two years as a regular player, he left Seville due to the strong competition to join the second division SD Eibar . With the Basques, he was able to build on the performance in Seville.

He then got the opportunity to switch to the first division relegated Celta Vigo , but he was not used in any league game for the Galicians, which is why he left the club again after six months. In January 2005 he signed a contract with second division competitor Ciudad de Murcia . In the summer of the same year, Dani Bautista's transfer to the promotion favorite Recreativo Huelva followed . At the first attempt, he rose to League 1 with the Andalusians. From there he moved to Italy for a year at FC Girona in 2010 . He left the club, however, after a year and joined the Spanish second division UD Almería . There he came on 23 missions in the season, but was sold again afterwards. He came to the newly relegated second division club Racing Santander in the summer of 2012 and signed a one-year contract there.
