Daniel Fernández Torres
Daniel Fernández Torres (born April 27, 1964 in Chicago ) is an American clergyman and bishop of Arecibo .
Life
Daniel Fernández Torres was ordained a priest on January 7, 1995 .
Pope Benedict XVI appointed him on February 14, 2007 auxiliary bishop in San Juan de Puerto Rico and titular bishop of Sufes . The Archbishop of San Juan de Puerto Rico, Roberto Octavio González Nieves, OFM , donated him episcopal ordination on April 21 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Iñaki Mallona Txertudi CP , Bishop of Arecibo, and Ulises Aurelio Casiano Vargas , Bishop of Mayagüez .
On September 24, 2010, he was appointed Bishop of Arecibo.
