The Diocese of Mayagüez ( lat. : Dioecesis Maiaguezensis ) is in Puerto Rico situated Roman Catholic diocese based in Mayagüez .

history

The diocese Mayagüez was on March 1, 1976 by Pope Paul VI. established with the Apostolic Constitution Qui arcano Dei from cedings of the dioceses of Arecibo and Ponce and subordinated to the Archdiocese of San Juan de Puerto Rico as a suffragan diocese.
