Daniel Flender

Daniel Flender SJ (born January 2, 1665 in Siegen , † September 15, 1723 ) was a German Jesuit and theologian .

Life

After completing his novitiate , Flender entered the Jesuit order on July 11, 1685 and was enrolled at the University of Würzburg on September 29, 1686 under No. 8738 . Flender headed the lower schools in Fulda and Würzburg and devoted himself to theological disciplines in Olmütz and philosophy in Fulda and Würzburg .

From 1703 to 1709 he taught theology at the universities of Bamberg and Heidelberg , and around 1711 in Würzburg ("in Academia Huiate"). From 1712 to 1716 in Bamberg he was professor of canon law and from 1721 he worked in Würzburg as professor of moral theology.
