Daniel Gołębiewski (born July 15, 1987 in Wyszków , Poland ) is a Polish football player who acts as a center forward .
Career
Daniel Gołębiewski played for MOSiR Wyszków in his youth , before moving to the youth department of Polonia Warsaw at the age of seventeen . Then he made the jump to the first team via the second team. However, it was not used initially. Therefore, he was loaned to third division club ŁKS Łomża in the second half of the 2007/08 season. After he returned, he fought over the team in the youth league Młoda Ekstraklasa again a place in the first team. On the 21st matchday of the 2008/09 season (March 21, 2009) he was the first time in the away game against Śląsk Wrocław (1-0) in the Ekstraklasa in the starting line-up. He scored his first goal in the same season on the penultimate matchday in the home game against Lech Posen (3: 3). In the next two seasons was almost always part of the squad, but was mostly only used as a substitute. In the first half of the 2011/12 season he was loaned to league rivals Górnik Zabrze , in the second half of the season to Korona Kielce . After the 2011/12 season he returned to Polonia Warsaw. In February 2013 he took over the captaincy at Polonia Warsaw.
