Daniel Grillfors (born July 2, 1982 in Enköping ) is a Swedish ice hockey player who has been under contract with Helsingfors IFK in the Finnish Liiga since June 2014 .

Career

Daniel Grillfors began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown in the youth department of Enköpings SK , for whose senior team he played five games in the then third-class Division 2 in the 1997/98 season . From there he moved to the youth department at VIK Västerås HK . With their senior team between 2000 and 2002 he reached the march from Division 2, which had meanwhile become fourth class, through Division 1 into the second class HockeyAllsvenskan . For VIK Västerås HK, the defender ran for four years in the professional field before he received a contract with HV71 from the Elitserien towards the end of the 2005/06 season , with which he won the Swedish championship title in the 2007/08 and 2009/10 seasons won. In the 2008/09 season he was also runner-up with the team.
