Daniel Hatterscheid (born September 18, 1984 in Cologne ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for Neusser EV in the regional league since 2008 .
Career
Daniel Hatterscheid started with the Kölner Haien with ice hockey and went through all youth teams there. In 2000 the striker first appeared for the DNL team of the Haie, two years later he received his first appearances for the junior national team at the U-18 World Cup . In the same year he moved to Sweden to the Malmö Redhawks , where he should be used in the junior team. However, since he was only allowed to play a few games, he moved back to Germany a short time later to EV Duisburg in the 2nd Bundesliga .
For the 2003/04 season he received a contract with the Iserlohn Roosters , for which he also played his first games in the DEL . Although he was equipped with a production license, he played a large part of the season in Iserlohn. At the Junior World Championships in 2004 , he managed to return to the A group with the German selection. After another year in Iserlohn, he switched back to the Kölner Haien for the 2005/06 season , where he received further assignments in the DEL. He also played with a license for the Ratinger Ice Aliens . He then moved to the regional league, where he has since played for Neusser EV and the second team of DEG Metro Stars .
