Reviews

So far, the film has won over 81 percent of all Rotten Tomatoes critics and received an average rating of 7.1 out of a possible 10 points.

Trace Thurman from Bloody Disgusting describes the film in his review as an almost perfect combination of body horror , cosmic horror and psychological horror that gets under the skin and hits the heart at the same time.

Marc Savlov of the Austin Chronicle writes the film is highly recommended, and echoes of Rosemary's baby and The Tenant- era films by Roman Polanski run through the film. Nevertheless, Daniel Is Not Real is a very special fever dream.
