Daniel Jaakov Kühn

Daniel Jaakov Kühn (born August 13, 1972 in Dachau ) is a German writer and theater director.

Life

From 2000 to 2013 Kühn organized in Cafe Gap together with u. a. Oliver Brauer, Michael Wopperer, Ilona Kühn, Ko Bylanzky , Kerstin Pistorius and Celine Genschke the speak & spin reading series . Kühn has been organizing literary events at various locations under the speak & spin label since 2013 .

Between 1991 and 1997 Kühn worked as an actor and voice actor with performances a. a. in Marienhof , beware of the trap! and Dr. Stefan Frank . Together with the painter and musician Richard Fuchs, Kühn has been running the independent stage Das Wandlandtheater since 1993 , with guest performances a. a. in the Glockenbachwerkstatt Munich, in the DomagkAteliers and in the Pathos Transport Theater . In 1996 Kühn played the lead role 'Jay' in the touring production of the comedy in the Bayerischer Hof in the play Lost in Yonkers by Neil Simon . Between 2000 and 2014 Kühn published texts in anthologies and short story volumes, including a. in 'Das Münchner Kneipenbuch' - publisher Björn Kuhligk , 'Sex Jahre Schwabinger Schaumschläger' - publisher Michael Sailer , in the anthologies' Planet Slam 'and' Poetry Slam - What the microphones hold '- publishers Ko Bylanzky and Rayl Patzak , in the short story volume' Fremd '- editor Fridolin Schley . In 2002 Kühn published his first volume of short stories 'Jakobs Reisen' in the publishing house yedermann . In 2014 the novel 'Der Bergfrauendoktor' was published by Volk Verlag . Kühn has been writing texts for companies such as Lufthansa, DB and MAN since 2007 as part of his work as an editor.

Kühn lives in Munich today.
