Rayl Patzak
Rayl Patzak (* 1971 in Wasserburg am Inn ) is a German Electro - DJ , MC , literature organizer , author, poetry slam essayist and slam master who primarily with co Bylanzky works. He lives and works in Munich .
Act
Patzak organized and moderated since 1996, when he was in the first semester, monthly in Munich Club substance to Munich Slam , a follow-up of the local literature slams the journalist Karl Bruckmaier . His former school friend Ko Bylanzky supported him almost from the start. Together they also organize other poetry slam events in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg as well as student workshops. In 1998 and 2006 the two organized the German-language poetry slam championships in Munich .
From 2001 to 2005 Patzak was the specialist editor for international young poetry and slam poetry at DAS GEDICHT . As a “poetry jockey” (“P-Jay”) with the pseudonym R (ayl) Da P-Jay , he fused poems and beats to dance tracks.
Together with Antje Zelnitschek opened Patzak 2005 in Munich Volkstheater the Knisterklub , a monthly radio play adventure world with deck furniture, special decoration and candy that thematically match the radio plays. Since 2005 he has also been the host and DJ of the listening lounge in the Münchner Kammerspiele , a poetry club night with a party character. In 2009, Patzak, who also likes to play in unusual places such as on the roofs of skyscrapers or lifting platforms, played in the Bavarian State Opera .
