Daniel Jasinski (born August 5, 1989 in Bochum ) is a German discus thrower .

In 2014 he finished seventh at the European Championships in Zurich . At the 2015 World Championships , he was eliminated from qualification.

He set a personal best of 65.98 m on May 10, 2014 in Wiesbaden and improved it on May 15, 2016 to 67.16 m. He was able to confirm this distance with 67.05 m in the final of the discus throw at the 2016 Olympic Games and thus won bronze. The athlete with Polish roots is trained by his father Miroslaw Jasinski. For winning the bronze medal in Rio, he received the silver bay leaf on November 1, 2016 .

In 2017, he finished fifth at the German Championships with a height of 62.20 meters .
